The Pinelands Regional CERT Program was created in February 2007 by Colonel William C. Lowe (USA-Ret), the Emergency Management Coordinator Emeritus for the Township of Tabernacle, NJ.  We have over 130 registered members who have all completed basic FEMA CERT training.

The Pinelands Regional CERT Team is under the supervision and direction of the Tabernacle Office of Emergency Management, with agreements in place to support the neighboring townships and OEMs of Shamong, Medford, and Bass River when needed.

The Office of Emergency Management coordinates, maintains, and administers emergency management and homeland security practices through education in the areas of preparedness, prevention, detection, mitigation, response, recovery, and protection.

We do the right thing,  the right way,  at the right time,  for the right reason.
